Take time to nominate a college access professional who is changing the world for the 13th Pathways to Postsecondary Education Awards. The Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education (ACPE) recognizes successful college access programs across the State that assist students and families prepare for, transition to, or succeed in postsecondary education. The awards are meant not only to honor the outstanding programs, but to recognize the good work being done in college access with the hope it can be replicated and benefit additional students. Award winners will be recognized Friday morning, December 8, 2017 at an award ceremony breakfast on the second day of the conference. Awards will be presented by an Arizona State legislator(s). Awards will be presented in the following five categories:
|K-12||Programs/efforts by K-12 schools to support students as they transition into postsecondary education|
|Higher Education||Programs/efforts by postsecondary institutions to support students through K-12 and into postsecondary education|
|Community||Programs/efforts by postsecondary institutions to support students through K-12 and into postsecondary education|
|Business||Programs/efforts by business stakeholders to support students through K-12 and into postsecondary education|
|Champion of the Year||Individual forwarding the cause of college access in an exceptional manner|
